J Child & Son in Rochdale & Bolton are a close-knit family run stonemasons & monumental masons which was established in early 1899 by Joseph Child. We are now a fourth-generation independent local business, providing unique headstones, memorials & headstone renovations. Our company is now run by Joseph’s great-granddaughter Jenny and her husband Roger Gregson. Jenny is proud to have served as chairman of the British Register of Accredited Memorial Masons (BRAMM) and as president of the National Association of Memorial Masons (NAMM) on two occasions.
